Investing in temporary warehousing can initially feel like an overwhelming process, part of this can be understanding what style of warehouse aligns with the needs of your business. In this guide, we breakdown how the different Roder Lines cater to different businesses and steer you in the direction of the line that’s right for your business.
The Roder S-line: straightforward, cost-effective storage.
The Roder S-line offers ultimate flexibility in a temporary industrial building: by being available 2.5m increments on both span and length, the S-line provides a storage solution versatile enough to suit restricted or awkward yard spaces that might not otherwise accommodate a modular building. Installed with an unimpeded span from 5m up to 20m, the S-line is suitable for most storage applications, with its eave height of up to 5m enabling use as covered loading space for HGV trailers, including those with a double deck.

The S-line can be installed with either weatherproof coated canvas cladding, for simple economical covered short-term storage or fully covered loading, equipped with steel cladding for secure operations, or 40mm ISO panels when better protection from the elements is required for workers or equipment.

An inner cover, which can be installed eave-to-eave or to the ground on both sides, protects equipment from condensation, whilst a ground seal can be installed in conjunction with a raised base to prevent water ingress beneath cladding.
Alternatively, the S-line can be used either unclad or partially clad for external loading where equipment and staff just need to be kept out of the elements during loading and unloading.

Best of all, the S-line is tough enough to be a permanent fixture in your yard, yet light enough to allow swift access and demounting, whilst designed to produce a ground pressure low enough to enable installation on a variety of surfaces, from concrete, through tarmac, right down to unpaved yards.
Roder S-line summary:
Clear span from 5m to 20m in 2.5m increments, with a building length in 2.5m increments.
Portal beam expansion available to combine two side bays for wider access doors.
Available in weatherproof canvas, secure steel, or 40mm insulated cladding.
Low ground pressure for use on a wide range of surfaces
Lightweight, for ease of installation and demounting
Eave heights of 3.5m, 4.4m, and 5m.
Anti-condensation inner liner
The Roder M-line: multi-purpose modular storage.
The Roder M-line has easily accessible 5m side bays but retains the S-line’s 2.5m increments on its clear span, providing greater flexibility when yard space is at a premium.

Produced in spans of up to 30m, with eave heights from 3.7m to 5.2m, the M-line is ideal for everything from floor-stacked bulk storage to racked goods and components requiring extra clearance.

The M-line is available with all cladding options, whether that be hard-wearing weatherproof canvas for loading operations, trapezoidal steel walls for secure storage, or 40mm ISO panels for environments requiring insulation. So, no matter what your space needs, the M-line has you covered.
Better still, the M-line can be specified with an inflatable thermal roof, where maintenance of specific temperature is important, keeping running costs to a minimum.

Roder M-line summary:
Clear span from 10m to 30m in 2.5m increments, with building length 5m increments.
Available in weatherproof canvas, secure steel, or 40mm insulated cladding.
Available with standard roof with inner liner or insulated inflatable roof.
Lightweight, flexible design for ease of installation and demounting.
Eave heights of 3.7m, 4.6m, and 5.2m.
The Roder H-line: heavy-duty, high-eave, large span.
If you need a span of 30m or more, require an eave height suitable for racked storage, or want a building insulated to a standard comparable with a conventional warehouse, the Roder H-line does it all.

Available in standard spans of up to 40m and eave heights reaching 8.2m, the H-line comes with an inflatable thermal roof as standard – available fleece lined for increased insulation that competes directly with a conventional solid roof- and complimented by insulated wall cladding starting at 60mm and rising to 100mm for enhanced thermal efficiency.

With a ground seal integrated into the cladding for prevention of surface water ingress on a raised base, the Roder Eco-line package is available for the elimination of most thermal bridging, and the option of a solid gable and a range of colour co-ordination to help blend with your existing buildings, the Roder H-line provides a cost-effective alternative to a conventional build that lends itself perfectly to long-term use.

Roder H-line summary:
Clear span from 10m to 40m in 5m increments, with length 5m increments.
Portal beam expansion is available for side bays up to 10m wide.
Available in secure steel, or insulated cladding from 60m up.
Eave heights of 4.2m, 5.2m, 6.2m, or 8.2m
Standard thermal roof with fleece option.
